We are very pleased that the AAIA is able to contribute such a substantial sum to food allergy research on January 29, 2007. In 2006 the AAIA had previously raised $15,000 for CAAIF. The $15,000 was raised through our Whitby Ontario Runand a Ring Toss event in Nova Scotia. Thus, the grand total donated to CAAIF since the spring is $75,000. Thank you to all who helped!
The AAIA raised the $60,000 for this 2007 research grant in a Bingo that has been operating in Brampton Ontario for many years. The AAIA has raised funds in excess of the amount needed for delivery of local service in Brampton and has been given approval to use some of the funds for research in the area of food allergy. Because the funds were raised through Gaming in Ontario, they must be spent in the province of Ontario.
