A new way of looking at asthma and seasonal allergies
International guidelines from the Seasonal Allergies and its Impact on Asthma (ARIA) panel, in association with the World Health Organization, emphasize that because these related conditions are both caused by inflammation in the airways, they should be treated together. By managing the dual burden of asthma and seasonal allergies together, doctors can ensure an effective approach to alleviate the irritating symptoms of both diseases and administer an appropriate treatment.
